7-10 Arthur Brown Place, Mt Wellington, Auckland

Arthur Brown Place is a 6200m2 office/warehouse on 9300m2 of land. We purchased this property vacant and split into two separate tenancies which are currently occupied by Smartbox Limited and Reid and Twiname Limited.

This property is located to the rear of one of Auckland’s major shopping malls, Sylvia Park.  It has recently benefitted from town planning changes to become Mixed Use Zoning.  This in turn has opened up major future development opportunities allowing a mixture of commercial and residential uses.

51-53 Carbine Road, Mt Wellington, Auckland

This site is a neighbouring one to our Arthur Brown Place property.  The Eastern Arterial roadway forms a split between these properties, however, access between them is possible underneath the arterial as it is an elevated roadway. It is also located to the rear of Sylvia Park and is comprised of 1.1 hectares with an older 2000m2  office/warehouse/showroom being occupied by KMD Kitchens. To the rear of the site, there is a 5000m2 yard which is currently rented for casual parking for a neighbouring business. 

This property too has benefitted from the zoning changes applied to Arthur Brown Place and has the added feature of possible access to the suburban train station at the rear of Sylvia Park. Once this property has been connected to the train station it will allow access on through to the shopping mall. Rosedale Rd is a purpose built early childhood education (daycare) facility on 3700m2 located on the corner of Bush Road and Rosedale Road, Albany. It is viewed as one of the premier daycare facilities on the North Shore and is situated between two major private schools.  Because of this, it has a constant wait list for places.

The Warehouse site is a bulk retail property located in the Albany Shopping Centre which is the biggest retail location on the North Shore of Auckland. At 8300m2 it is one of the more substantial retail properties on the Shore and is occupied by New Zealand’s largest retailer, The Warehouse Limited. We purchased the property from a distressed seller in 2011 with a short lease.  We then proceeded to add value in the form of a facelift to the facade and negotiated a new 12yr lease with rights of renewal which commenced in 2014.

161-175 Bush Road, Albany, Auckland

A three hectare site with 7000m2 of building, the site is split between two tenancies. Leading tourism operator and listed company Tourism Holding Limited occupy half the site for its campervan hire business and the other half is occupied by their related manufacturing operation.

Scottprop is a co-investor in the site with a third shareholding. The property is located in the major commercial/industrial area of Albany on Auckland's North Shore. It has great development potential for the future as the current occupier is well under the normal site coverage for this size of property.

This property is located on the edge of the fast evolving Milford town centre.  We are in the early stages of developing a 6 level 21 luxury apartment project. Resource and building consents are currently being processed with construction scheduled to commence in August 2018 and completion in 2020.
